The Old Stone Highway house was designed by designer / architect John Berg and concieved as a modern interpretaion from Long Island agricultural vernacular while it also incorporates the use of technology, low environmental impact buildings. Shape of the building stretches along the spine of interior and exterior spaces separated by glass walls that fold open during warm weather. A stepped wall smooth topography, volume and comfortable aircraft roof anchor to the site is relatively flat and meet client needs a dramatic space in envelope calm.
